Before the Books

Before there was a book,
there were words.

There were hundreds of them, beginning in my school days, written on the backs of notebooks, tucked into diaries and carried with me through different years of my life.

Very few were shared. Most remained hidden.

And some, after all these years, are finally finding their way into the light.

These words belong to the time in which they were written, and to the feelings I carried then.I have kept that voice intact, making only small corrections where needed.

This page is also a small tribute to all the words that never found their place or their people.

Every letter, every word, every unfinished thought meant something when it was written. At that moment, it felt enough. Sometimes, those words said what I could not.

Most of them may remain unseen, tucked away in old notebooks and diaries. But they were still created. They still belonged to a time, a feeling, and a version of me.

Perhaps they were, in their own way, the words of my silence.

And this is my way of remembering them, and thanking them.
